reinstall winxp-sp2

If I reinstall winxp-sp2 on the same hard drive will I have problems reactivating windows. Please help if you can. Thank You

You will. Unless you do a repair, then I doubt it

I did not do a recovery. But a full install and winxp-sp2 on the same hard drive and reactivation was ok. Thanks for the help.

I think you only need to reactivate if there is any major, hardware related change.

However, if you reactivate a few too many times then you will have to ring the MS number to get it activated manually I think. But if your legit then it should be ok.

That’s true. I was reading in another forum how one guy had to activate XP a number of times, and MS finally just gave him a key.
