Two Computers on one moniter

I need a suggestion. I have two computers, one is running linux, and the other is in progress of becoming a dual booting machine. I have two moniters but i really want to use only one moniter for both. Is there any way for me to run both computers at the same time and be able to somehow switch channels on the moniter back and forth between system. I’m probably going to have to buy certain cables or maybe some sort of object to do this.

How should i go about doing this?

thanks,

First off - Hi and welcome to the forums!

Now onto the question - It’s called a KVM switch, you connect both computers to it (usually Keyboard, Mouse and Screen) and then use a switch to move between the 2.

This would be fine I think.

KVM switch would be the best bet for that, but if you have limited budget you can also use a software based KVM such as UltraVNC.
