What would be the best sound card and speakers to buy?

Hello,

I have been reading up wether its worth getting a sound card or not… I’m still not 100% sure but thought someone could help me choose one, I have a budget of around £150.00. I want the sound card to go along side some new speakers, I’ve been looking around and Corsair CA-SP211UK SP2500 Gaming 2.1 Speaker System seem to be the most appealing but if you know of something better please share :smiley:

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium, Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi, Asus Xonar DX.. By order of preference, the Asus Xonar is the best sound card you can get for the buck, for me.. For the speaker, anything as long as it is 5.1 or 7.1 will do, I would recommend Logitech Z506 5.1 Speakers. You can check out other sites for more options.
