100mbs switch only working at 10mbs

    I just bought a new 8 port 10/100 switch. Both of the computers on my network use 10/100 nics. When i look at the status of each connection they both say 100mbs for the speed. I am using cat5 cables. But the transfer rate is still as slow as my old 10mbs hub. Any ideas?

    Might try new CAT5 cabling and see if that fixes anything.
