We are planning to install Windows on my sister's Macbook Pro. My question is, is it okay to install a 64bit Windows 7 on a Macbook pro? Would it be better to use it with Parallels/Fusion or Boot Camp?

It depends on the kind of Macbook. Is it made of aluminum (late 2008 model or newer)? In that case it supports 64-bit Operating Systems. Use the Boot Camp utility in Applications > Utilities to create a Windows partition and follow all steps to install Windows on the Macbook.

Thanks. It is actually the newest MACBOOK PRO. This guy from the store was trying to upsell the 64bit to her. I said to hold off for now. I am not sure if that's gonna do any good to her machine.
