heres a horrible 2005 nissan skyline, i dont like how it looks performace is ok http://www.batfa.com/new_car_nissan_skyline.htm
they weren't ever fast cars, don't see why someone would pay that kind of money when you can get a corvette and do circles around it.
That is f*cking horrible. What were they injecting when they designed that? I liked the Skyline GTRs they looked beastly and performance was good. Corvettes meh, just not into them. Of course I'd rather have an Aston Martin DB9.
hell yea aston martin all the way... (or a TVR Tuscan...mmmmm now thats a nice car...) Or my uncles 911 Turbo...i'd like that as its a cool colour and goes rather fast...heh
It will not be looking that subtle and that is not the gtr model either. Please keep in mind they had low and humble basemodels without any of the body upgrades, no front and rear spoilers, and no AWD. What WE will get will be a juiced up model that will be in excess of 50,000, is supposed to have a twin turbo versions of the 3.5 lister, will be equipped with allwheel drive, more aggressive body cladding, and will not look like the picture you supplied. Lets be realistic, you can buy a g35 that looks exactly like that here with the same setup, wait a second, i think that was a g35!
yup its a g35 body.. skylines are not all that anyway. you can add aftermarket parts and tune any car to be fast. ive seen videos of neon's beating motorcyles and tt vipers so its not really all that. they are a good base for making a fast car, but there are plenty of those, like supras, skylines, certain jap only integra's. any car can be quick, just need a solid place to start.
but who wants to rebuild their engine every 60k miles when they could have paid less for a faster car that's going to last longer
yup, i wouldnt want a car that would have to be repaired every 60K miles. I remember Jeremy Clarkson (dont know if he's big in america but he's a car journalist/tv presenter in the UK) say on his DVD that honda has built 15 million V-Tec units, and not one has gone back faulty, thats efficiency and build quality shining through there...
I liked the skylines mainly for their nice front, and cool back lights. They've just killed one of my favourite GT4 cars.
Nissan Skylines are not about speed, but about handling. 4-wheel steering and All-wheel drive allow the car to defy the laws of physics more mundane cars have to adhere to. I know when they first came out, the stock one had the world record on the Nürburgring. That was over the McLaren F1 race car.
This is the second time today youv'e brought back a dead thread! I think you should have a read of This before bringing back old threads. pelvis_3
