Sorry to butt in at this time, but here's the picture: If you use Cool n' Quiet in tandem with Core Cell, or AI-NOS, you will not really OC the CPU. The system takes over that aspect. If you turn off Cool n Quiet, then you can OC the system. Stock cooling is good enough using Cool n Quiet, and believe me, performance boost is much safer that way. But hey, some of us live to OC, so do whatever makes you happy.
True. How true. Specially when you're just starting out. Fry a few chips and it gets you thinking. I guess that's why ASUS and MSI came up with the idea. But by golly, OC'ing is an experience all of us should go through, if only for the knowledge we gain after that. Cheers!
