American monitor, U.K wall socket - help!

Just bought an LCD monitor from ebay, but it has an American plug on it - Is there anything I can get like an adapter so I can use it on my english sockets?

what kind is it

• one with a power adapter
• one with a standard PC power connector (kettle lead)

Off-hand, I couldn't give you an exact store, but look around for an international travelers transformer kit. Those would allow you to use the monitor on UK voltages.
