New member here and was just looking through the forum and noticed alot of posts that have something to do about removing AS5. Most people on here say use rubbing alcohol. The easiest way to get AS5 off is to dab a little bit of Olive Oil on a Paper towel and rub it right off then go over it with some rubbing alcohol. The Olive Oil take the AS5 right off VERY easily and works on most other thermal compounds I have tried it on.

That is interesting. I know there's some kit around for dissolving thermal compound, but hey, a bottle of olive oil and isopropyl alcohol would be cheaper and last longer than the kit in all likely hood.
