Ok I bought a new card today and it wasn't until after I bought it installed it that I found out, the motherboard I have doesn't support this PCIX 2.0 card.
But anyway, I know I can't take it back because it's my fault for buying the wrong card and removing the warranty tab.
I've been searching and I know you can somehow update the cards BIOS, and since that Asus are not going to realise a new BIOS for thier motherboard to work with this card, I found that I can download a custom BIOS for my card and install that to it to make it strip the 2.0 from the card so it's basically a 1.0.
Does anyone know where I get this file and how I update the BIOS for it, because I cannot find it anywhere.
