Ati Catalyst 8.x or Omegadriver?

hey there i just got my new ati radeon hd 3870 card and i want to get the most out of right now i have catalyst 8.3 driver but would the latest omegadriver be better? any ideas would be great thank you

I haven't run any Omega's in awhile, but if they've kept up with their reputation, then they'd be fine. Like I said, I haven't tried them, so I can't speak on the current state of things.

I would stick with the ATI drivers.
For overclocking I think AMD GPU clock utility can help.

DO NOT run this with the catalyst control center open at the same time!!!!!
And remember..... When overclocking air cooled video cards go a little at a time.
