BIOS PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys i re did my computer awhile back fresh instals of 7 and stuff, and since then i had dual boot options and this stupid thing saying floppy not detected where i had to hit F1 to get past the floppy thing and then choose my OS i solved the OS boot thing thats good, but the floppy thing i cant solve becasue i cant get into my BIOS??? everytime i hit tab or delete when it tells me to it just restarts the computer????? it wont let me in the bios??? i mean i can use the computer fine im using it now. but i the floppy thing is getting ANNOYING so i wanna get into the bios to disable it but i cant get into the bios???? any ideas solutions????
 
Pull the battery out for 15 minutes and let it sit for awhile... Then reinstall the battery, this should reset the Bio's...
 
i did the battery thing before posting, my bios is fine, i just cant get into it when it gives me the chance to hit tab and enter, it just restarts the computer :( i just wanna disable my floppy drive (Which i dont have) lol so i dont have to hit F1 to boot!!!!
 
There are so many different ways to get into the bios, Del /f1 /f2 , Have you been into the bio's before ? If so, and you know what it is, then your problem might be the dual boot...
 
Well, your last resort would be to change the jumper on the Bios to reset it, IF your Motherboard would have this function...
 
what is preventing you from accessing the BIOS ?

presumably it's the fact that the BIOS password is unknown by you, which suggests the possibility using PC components from a questionable source, standard PC components will respond as we @ HWF have said,

are you using PC components from questionable sources ?
 
no i custom built this PC and never had this problem until recently when i re installed win 7 on a diff HD idk its WEIRD it just wont let me access the bios lmfao i mean im using the computer right now i just wanna get into the bios because its saying "no master ide drive detected press F1 to continue" everytime i turn on my computer and its getting annoying having to press F1 everytime lol so i just wanna go disable it :P
