Black Screen when Booting from new graphics card

Hi I am trying to help a friend setup a new graphics card on his PC. I have successfully installed the new graphics card and booted from it. I then installed drivers and restarted PC. After the Windows XP loading screen it goes black and monitor led is green, indicating PC is on. The screen goes black and the PC does not boot any further. I then removed to graphics card and booted up from integrated graphics and it works fine. Further more I reviewed the troubleshooting in the new graphics cards manual, through this I found out the I must disable the integrated graphics. I proceed with disabling and reproving their drivers and then try booting from the new graphics card, but no prevail. The manual also said I must disable the integrated graphics from within BIOS, this I can not figure out how to do.

So I need help on getting this new graphics card to work and not boot to a black screen. Here are the specs of the motherboard and the new graphics card name and model number.

I don't have any other video card that I can try neither a computer to try it on. I need to figure out how I can disable the integrated graphics from BIOS of the motherboard. If i can get that done I think the new graphics card will work.

Do you checked the video card before purchase?
If it is good,you can change BIOS settings in CMOS/PnP/PCI configurations...... it is called Init Display First.
It can be set to PCIex or onboard or PCI (default is PCIex) you change the option to 'PCI' then re-start the system.
 
I finally got the graphics card to work but have ran into a completely different problem :(

So I uninstalled the integrated graphics drivers and removed them completely using DRIVER SWEEPER, then installed the drivers for new card from the nVidia site. This got the card to work, but now I have CPU performance at 100% o_O

After the drivers completely installed and the pc rebooted and was slow on getting to desktop and the fan was loud then I opened task manager and found the cpu at 100.

What can I do to fix this problem?
 
Looks like I found the problem, the card is compatible with the computer. The problem is that because it is an extra device it need to cool down, I opened up the case and guess what I find?

A fan is missing :p it is the fan that is supposed to be connected to the backside of the PC case. LOL I will show my friend and get him to buy one.

If I am wrong and there is another problem please do share information with me so I can get the best fix.
 
Well this is what has happened. The graphics card has been returned and adding a fan did not help. So I am open to anyone suggesting me a graphics card.
 
Your CPU? 9800GT/9800GTX/9500GT..
If another GPU won't work again, try upgrading your RAM, to 4Gb and try to utilize your motherboard's dual channel capabilities.
I got a 9500GT working in my other system, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2Gb RAM, 9500GT, Asus motherboard. 650w psu.
The memory support for your mother board according to the HP website is:
  • Dual-channel memory architecture
  • 4 x 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets support unbuffered non-ECC 4 GB 400/300 MHZ DDR memory modules
  • Maximum HP/Compaq approved memory is 4 GB*

Okay here are the specs of the computer.
What my Friend is trying to achieve from the PC is to run a certain game which is: AGE OF EMPIRES ONLINE
  • The Requirements of the Game are as Follow:
    • Processor: Dual Core, 2Ghz or higher
    • Video card: 128 MB Shader 2 supported card or higher
    • Memory: Win XP SP3/Vista Home Basic – 1GB; Vista Premium, Ultimate/Windows 7 (32 bit) – 1.5GB; Windows 7 (64 bit) – 2.5GB
    • Hard drive space: 5 GB required for downloads
    • Internet: Broadband internet required
