Ok with some of the little advice I have already recieved on here I made a few changes to what I orginally was going to get. I am starting the process to build my own PC. I know the basic's of building one but not all the small details. Basically I am building this PC mostly for gaming even though I still use it for surfing and homework. But I just would like anyones opinion on these that i have picked out so far... Also since i am *newbish* lol at building computers can you let me know if all of this stuff will work together... By that i mean will the hard drive/dvd burner/processor etc... work with everything cause i dont want to buy all this and find out something like the video card doesnt work with my mother board or something lol... Well here it is thanks!!

And I already have speakers and I am going to buy a wireless router and network card later on so i dont need that just yet...

might i suggest XP Home OEM (non retail version) for $91, unless theres a solid reason for the need for Pro i think the extra $50 you save would be better spent getting a 7800GT intead of an x800 xl, wheres your Power supply.
Also you might want to think about a SLI mobo(if you get the nvidia card), future proof
also your first drive does everything that second drive does plus more, you dont need it.
also the ram i suggested in your previous thread would probably be a better buy

unless you're madly in love with LCD's I'd say no way jose. Samsung makes some pretty badass CRT's and I heard something about hyundai making best LCD's right now.

I suggest in you buying a better powersupply than that, your comp will refuse to but with that 18A/12V peice of :censor:
This is the greatest power supply you can buy and is recomended by nvidia, the maker of the 7800GTX. I also would save your money and buy a CRT monitor, they are much much cheaper and get the same video quality if not better. You can also go for a 21" CRT for the same price as that LCD and go for a migher resolution which that graphics card excels in.
