Building this Computer

I posted on here a few months back with a computer I was going to build. Since then I have saved up enough money to finally purchase and build my own computer. I want to double check with people on here to make sure the parts I have picked out are compatible with each other. Also, I would like to know what tools or extra parts I will need to buy to put this PC together that I don't have listed. Any other suggestions are welcome.

The ram and the PSU.

I would say for RAM go with this

Alot of corsair RAM's go defective no matter the model of them. Although most have a lifetime warranty, you don't want to be replacing them with corsair every 3 months. the ram I listed is great.

Also I say this powersupply, a 550 is not enough for a quad core, 4870, 4 gigs ddr3, hdd. dvd drive. No way you are bumped to the 750 area with that. Better to have more juice than not enough.

Either PSU will be a fine choice for you.

Also why are you getting a sounds card? the mobo has built in 7.1 channel, theres no point for it.

Thanks for your help. I'm going to get the ram and one of the PSU's you picked out. I have a case listed that I like. For the operating system, I want to wait until windows 7 comes out because I have heard a lot of bad stuff about Windows Vista. I was going to just use Windows XP that I have until then.

If I want to upgrade to crossfire in a year or 2 the only thing I need to be crossfire ready is the video card and PSU right?
 
Either PSU will support crossfire.

Also, you know you can't reuse a copy of xp that came with like lets say a dell computer. Right?
 
Alright I think I'll just get Vista then. It says it comes with a free Windows 7 upgrade anyway so that should work out perfect.
