cant edit image file in gta vc instalation

i am trying to add a giant motorway to gta vc, but the problem is, every time i try to add somehting to gta3 img, it always says file acess is denied, i dnt have read only ticked, so whats the problem?

Really... i dont have a clue, all i can suggest is editing the file in safe mode.

Most likely because one file is from a different game. Same way that Photoshop CS brushes don't work with Photoshop 7.

naa, i found out why, the gta3.dir file was tickes as read only, so i unticked it, and i could edit it.
