colour display on my lcd tv

hello, i have recently bought a new pc and am using my lcd tv as my monitor as i have it on pc mode. however, the colour on the screen is not right, its like there is a blue screen over it, its very hard to see red, as its so dark, i have tried the option in the 'display' setting of the control panel, no good. anyone have any suggestion that could sort this out...its hurting my eyes!

The first thing I would do is plug that PC into a real monitor and see if it is blue too. If it is, and you cannot correct it with standard monitor adjustments, then you need to take the new PC back to where you bought it - especially while it is still under warranty.
