A computer recently came to me that seems to have lost it's video. I can not see the bios or even post. It's clear that we have issues with the intergrated video card. I will be trying to reset the bios but if that does not solve my problem than I'm hoping some of you can help me.
I have already tried placing a pci video card into the pc, there is no agp or pci-e slot. No video, therefore I probably have to get into the bios to change the video from agp onboard to pci. Problem is, I can't even view the bios.
Is there a trick to it or does anyone happen to know how to blindly navigate the bios (machine is 15 years of age from compaq) so I can switch it.
All input is helpful, thanks.
