Hi there.
So, usually after half an hour of gaming or so, my left speaker starts emitting static. It's brought on by various games and remains after I quit them for a while then dies down.
I know it's not the speaker itself seeing how the static stops when I mute the computer and also happens with headphones.
So far I've tried updating realtek audio's drivers to no avail as well as muting all audio levels not accounted for.
Changing the default format for the audio does not help but it does change the type of static emitted... Which is weird.
What do I do? If all software solutions fail, will buying a sound-card fix the problem? My current sound card is the one on-board the h97m-hd3 Gigabyte motherboard.
Thanks very much.
