computer randomly turns off

I still reccommend running chkdsk as HDD errors can happen even a week after reinstallation of windows. memtest86 I believe would be the best memory tester...
 
Well, I reinstalled Windows and everything is running perfect so far...so software or virus issue most likely. Where can I get a program that does some intense testing on my computer? I hope that actually makes sense.

Yup! and now they have an advanced version of it as well.... which is [link=http://www.memtest.org]memtest86+[/link].
