Computer Weirdness Blank screen and dodgy mouse.

Hi,

My brothers computer is FUBAR'ed.

The screen will randomly and continually go black for a few seconds, usually when performing a new action (new webpage or some flash animation starts up). But its not consistent enough to be conclusive. I can't make it go black on purpose it just does.

Secondly when I attach my mouse (wireless via a KVM switch) it is rather jerky and freezes a lot until I touch the case or put my hand near the case!!! - Its like a magic trick I swear!

I have swapped the graphics card to no avail,

I have cleaned out the dust

I have reseated all connector I could find

Any ideas?

So if you touch the case, the problems go away? In that case, I think that there's a grounding issue with the motherboard or the power supply.

Thats kinda what I was thinking but I dont actually have to touch the case! just be within 2-3 inches!
