Dell dimension 2400, I need help...

    the neo 2 board, the pny 6800gt, a rosewill case, and a 450 wat rosewill ps with solid reviews. I was looking at at the box on the 6800...and it said nview multiple monittor ready.....uh oh...i might be spending more money....lol what would i need for that?

    That just means that its possible to connect 2 monitors to it!
    and nView is just the software that controlls it!

    is it hard to configure that and would it hinder gaming at all?

    Its very easy to configure and its doubtful it'll hinder gaming performance!

    I believe that multi-monitor gaming won't be as fast as it is with a single monitor. On the other hand, with a 6800GT, it might not be noticeable, depending on what resolution settings you want to run things at. The other thing is that you might run into trouble with multi-monitor support by the games. It's not been a real request, and I *don't* think it's really supported. I'm not 100% sure on that, but I remember hearing it before. I've never really looked into it.

    well if u couldnt dual monitor during games could i have like a media player, or web browser or stuff be up one and the game on the other? or would i have to disable to the dual monitoring when i play games?

    You cant have a game on one and web on the other!
    Basically just gives you more desktop space to work with!
    eg, if you have media player open and IE open you can just drag media player over to the other screen to get it out of the way!

    is it possible to make fullscreen games run in a window? like a program or something?

    Some games have an option to run in a window but not all!
