hello,
i have a over 3 years old dell wfp2007, that looks like is bleeding or sweating from the inside.
it's only apparent on the top if the screen.
any ideas ?

so, i turned the monitor off for 6 days.
when i turned it on, instead off black spots on bright background, it's turned to whites on black :D
but after a couple of minutes it cleared, and now there's nothing :p
but it will probably get back in a couple of days/hours

Better to get a new one.
To consider replacing parts in this case would not be worth it.
There is a small chance it could be the ribbon cable on the inside that might have a loose connection.
Other factors like power inverter might cause this, but inverters are not cheap considering the cost of a new LCD these days.

As a test, try hitting the side of your LCD with your palm when it does act up.
See if it responds when you hit it. But like I said earlier, either loose cable inside or more likely bad LCD.
