haha, im just learnin a hell lot since im bored all the time, usually id be in poland doing crazy stuff, and i mean crazy haha here im just playing, but hey, surfing with the alien for a 10 month newb? pretty good right?
I play lead bass in the band (got 2 bass players), sometimes it's hard to come up with material when I don't know how the song is meant to go, but if I've written the lyrics myself I know exactly how I want the music to sound so it's easier. Even got a gig on Saturday so shall be looking forward to that.
awesome, yeah id rather write lyrics then basically sing from my head and look for the notes everyone says you write music then vocals i think its the other way, much easier
I like to sing my songs when I play, unless they're meant to be sung normally, but that kinda song is the kind I rarely write. Mine have more of a death metal edge in the respect there's a lot of Bodom/Slipknot style roaring involved.
