I still have this problem. Right, i have a dragonet 56k voice modem with all the latest drivers etc and there doesn't seem to be a problem in the daytime but at around 8 pm it begins to disconnect. Just before it disconnects the browser/game or whatever i am doing freezes for about five seconds then a message pops up saying : "You have ignored an incoming call. Press the ok button" Then if i try to reconnect it shows this message about one minute later every time so my evening use of the internet is gone! I really need a way to fix this because it is a big problem. (I am connected to freeserve anytime) Looking forward to replies. Regards Matt
have you sorted the problem yet? It sounds like the Call Waiting service is enabled! In the Control Panel >> Phone and Modem Options there should be a optiion to disable the feature on the modem. also try dial this on the phone! *#43# to hear if CW is activated *43# to turn it ON #43# to turn it OFF (you want it off)
