Dual +/- DVD writer doesnt like DVD-R

Hi

Used dvd shrink 3.2 with (nero 6) to re-author a dvd to a DVD+RW now my computer wont burn to DVD-R discs - tried reinstalling DVD drives.

I have two Hard drives and booting from either has the same problems - most anoying.

Any suggestion?

try reinstalling the software to reconfigure all the setting to make sure that you havent slipped up and changed sometihg wrong, also try a different make of dvd r. hope this helps Dave :good:

I believe it is a firmware problem because i am running XP sp2 - been on the NEC website and the update is not yet available any ideas.
