dual view

iv currently got a 17" acer AL1716 as my main monitor but also has a proview 15" monitor im thinking instead of selling the 15 off cheap or just having it sit there in my spair room il make use of it. so just wondering when im in just dual view why does my second screen only show the wallpaper and not the icons or start bar.

also how do i say get a website up on one screen and something else on the other.

ps if i like the idea of the second screen im going to sell it and get another acer 17" cos the 15 is not as high res etc as the acer is.but will do for now while im playing about.

it does this because it does not repeat thew other monitor, you can ahve anything on your second monitor, you can put games on it, add desktop icons, if you want the tabs on the startbar to go to the other monitor download this program called UltraMon, it will give you options to have start bar, different desktop background on both computers etc..., i used 2 monitors untill my second crt broke, now i use an Acer 1916w 19" widescreen monitor, less power consumption and more desk space :D
