Fan connectors

I was wondering, i just got my case in today, and it has 1x 120mm front fan, 1x 90mm side fan, and 1x 120mm rear blue led fan. What are the connectors on the mobo called whrere i plug in these fans. I know there is a connector specifically for the cpu fan though, and i have heard that some fans connect to the 4 pin molex, but how do i tell on a mobo how many fans it supports, are is there a standard? Do most mobobs support like 3 fans? If not, is there a way i can connect those wee little 3pin fan wires to the psu? this is my mobo http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-492&depa=0

Nice board! Just looking at the pics on Newegg, I can soo 4 3-pic connectors for 3-pic connector fans. 1-CPU, 3 other.

Unless the fans for your case are 3-pin, you can't hook them up to your motherboard without cutting the wires. You need to hook them up to your power supply with the 4-pin molex's :good:

i see the two you circled near the battery, i believe in the manual it says, chasis fan, and power fan, does that mean just any fan? and the 3rd one u circled is the cpu fan near the cpu...am i missing the 3rd regular 3 pin connector? (other than the cpu one)
 
Use the CPU connector for your cpu fan, and I think the power fan is something to do with a power supply. refer to your manual about it, or just find a different 3pin connector
 
With those higher power fans, you're better off hooking them directly to the power supply. They should be 4-pin molex connectors anyway, but if they're not, hooking them up to the motherboard isn't a good idea. The reason is because the power draw of the larger fans (basically anything from 80mm and up) is usually more than what the header can provide. The motherboard isn't designed to power huge fans in most cases.
