Has anyone read any good books recently? It's been a while since i've read one, but I like pretty much everything by Tom Clancy and John Grisham.

i can think of 2 i liked, because, i learnt a hell of a lot from both of them
  • In Search Of Schroedinger's Cat - ISBN-10: 0553341030 - ISBN-13: 978-0553342536
  • Schroedinger's Kittens - ISBN-10: 0316328197 - ISBN-13: 978-0316328197
but they are not to everyone's fav books, because, their about quantum physics & reality & stuff, but, i thought they were v v interesting

Edit: but it was about 3 years when i last read them, now, i don't remember where they are

Ive half read a few decent ones lately...

TA Today and Games people play.... about Transactional Analysis.
Notes from a small island by Bill Bryson.
and the screwfix direct catalogue!

The last book i ever read was back in high school it was: Of Mice & Men. Quality story lol but that was a long time ago i don't really read books i like reading the newspaper such as the FT (Financial Times).

Well if you like fantasy, I'm currently reading Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series (they made the movie of the first one, the golden compass, recently), and it's pretty good. Not amazing but pretty good.

reading is not easy for me, as i only have 1 hand that works (my left arm is knacked) so, i prefer to read stuff on the net, because, it's just easier for me

Probably the most important book I will ever read was The Gulag Archipelago by AleksandrI. Solzhenitsyn . Its not exactly what you'd call a light read or a funny book (LOL) but in my opinion it should be on the school syllabus. Think Nobel Prize for Literature.

I like computer related books very much. My favorite books are
Estimating Software-intensive Systems
TheEnd of Software
Encyclopedia of New Media

Absolute Beginner‘s Guide to Creating Web Pages
