My drum teacher gets free cd's. Easy. He orders them from a local library and then gets automated message saying that the order is ready for being picked up . Goes, gets, burns, returns. Very easy way to get free music. I'm going to start doing it this weekend when I can get my library card
Pfff. You guys are slow on the pickup...I'm sure you were all in mid-elementary school when I figured that one out. Damn kids.
I didn't even know that the library carried anything like that. I've only been in my local library once. hehe
speaking of free music... www.download.com - check out the "Music" tab. They have literally thousands of up and coming bands giving away free material, some of its really good. The genre ranges from Hardcore Rap to Scandinavian Death Metal and Grindcore...HURAGH!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, what Anti-Trend told me about is www.magnatune.com Just a bunch of free music done by artists, from what I can tell is if you like it you can buy the cd's
Finally, some posts regarding the legal aquisition of free music :chk: Edit *Does this post make any sense at all??!*
Funny isn't it I felt so proud the first time my younger brother copied his first dvd and flogged it at schoo *rolls eyes & sighs*
I started doing lots of CD's when I was in Y7, but most of teh games would only work if you installed the Insektors hook driver. Thing is most people didn't install it right, or even do it at all. *rolls eyes & sighs*
Heh, could never do that at my local library, they charge about 50p - £1 for a CD and it's only old stuff anyway, kinda pointless, besides, they don't carry my kinda music.
I never really go the the "local" library but the one at school obviously wouldn't even think of helping me there. Can't picture my local one doing that either but I never tried, would probably get more kids to use it anyway...
