Jessops.com - Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd Zoom (Digital Camera) - Jessops.com I've been thinking of getting one, I was looking at a smaller model (The S5700) but I wanted slightly more control over things like focus and zoom. I just wondered if anyone had any experience with the camera? I've read lots of reviews and most complain about the lack of image stabilization. I'm not big on photography, I just want to get into it and want to go past the point-and-shoot cameras, but not onto SLR's.
I was looking into cameras a few months back, Lumix DMC FZ7 was the one I would have purchased but now a newer version is out Jessops.com - Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ8 Digital Camera (Black) - Jessops.com which I might consider again when I want a camera. I've found this site to be very good with reviews TrustedReviews - Digital Cameras Index heres the link to the camera your looking at TrustedReviews - Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd
Thanks for the links man, really useful :good: That Lumix looks quite nice, I don't want to stretch over £200 really - I'm hoping to speak to one of my friends soon as he's into photography and knows his stuff =]
Went and bought one today - it's pretty cool =] I shall try and get out sometime at the weekend and take some shots =]
Hehe, I spoke to a friend who's a photographer - he said they're pretty good. I was playing around with the Super-Macro Mode and manual focus earlier: http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/7529/dscf000211br8.jpg Takes some nice photos =] (I reduced the size) Plus it can save in RAW format too
