I have a Hitachi widescreen LCD and a Geforce 6800 ultra attached via DVI to HDMI my problem is Text is fuzzy and blocky any ideas how to make it easier on the eye
Thanks in advance
Impotence is onto something. LCD's are optimized for a particular resolution and will look best at said resolution. 1280x1024 may be it, but you'll need to check the manual for that.
Yeha it depends on the size of the screen. The resolutions below are general guides for 4:3 aspect ratio LCD screens.
15" = 1024 x 768
17" = 1280 x 1024
19" = 1280 x 1024
However you mentioned it's widescreen, so the aspect ratio is more likely to be 16:9 (standard widescreen ratio, sometimes it's 16:10 though) - the resolution for that will be different to the ones above.
When I use on VGA the picture is fine, native res is 1366#768, when i use this resolution the top bottom and side info is missing, the tv is
Hitachi 26LD6600 Still not sorted
if you're using, for eg. a 19inch lcd and a 17inch lcd, you have to put it on the same resolution for them to be the same right? if you wanna run dual monitors on clone (nvidia) they need to have the same resolution for all the information on the desktop to fit.
What does that have to do with this conversation? They don't have to have the same resolution refresh rate etc if you're using a dual-montor setup. I run one and have set them at different resolutions and refresh rates before and had no trouble, granted it looks a bit weird but it works.
