GeForce 7800GTX Ultra?

it would be good if they made new motherboard, that were for double sli (4 6600gt cards on one motherboard), thats would be so kool.

 

The 7800GTX is about 2x as fast as a 6800U in some tests, so a dual core 6800U should be compairable, but a tremendous price concidering you can hardly find a 6800U under $400.
4x SLI would be cool but a big pain upgrading 4 cards.

 

more than two cards is just a bigger waste of money than SLI.

 

it would be nice if they made some sort of sli, exept it was 2 whole computers working together, so 2 3ghz computers =6ghz, cheaper than dual core it would be.

Pretty much my thinking as we all know my opinos on SLI.

 

did they ever think of making somthing like sli exept duel agp slots?

 

I don't think that ever worked out, 3Dfx used 2 PCI slots to "SLI" their Voodoo cards back in '98 I think.

 

how is one rendering on side of the screen going to make games work better lol?

 

well I guess it cuts the work in half. It was pretty sweet at the time at least.
