gigabyte radeon 9600se... please help

hi, i just bought this vcard and i ran 3dmark03 and my score was 2390 is this good or bad and also 3dmark03 is showing that i only have 324 core clock and 196 memory clock which is supposed to be 324 core and 400 m. clock is there something in the settings that i have configure. is it busted or something. please help... thanks in advance
 
First, of all, what kind of video card do you have? It's pretty important to whether or not your 3Dmark score is askew or not. Also, your DDR is 400MHz. DDR means "Double Data Rate." The memory clocks run at 196x2, which is an actual speed of 392MHz.
 
Anti-Trend: the card is a 9600SE....READ DAMMIT :p

As for the score, I would say it's normal since the 9600SE is a budget card.
Your system specs will influence the score but not that much since 3dmark03 tests mainly the card.
 
For 03 that's probably about right. The 9600SE has a 64-bit pipe as opposed to a 128-bit pipe---If I remember correctly. It is a cut-down version of the regular 9600. 3Dmark03 is more video card oriented than prior versions, so the other hardware in the system has less of an effect than on earlier versions. You can try snagging the latest drivers for the card for starters.
