Graphics driver will not start after powerup

Hello All,

I'm encountering a strange problem with a PC I've assembled using an Intel DG45ID and Win XP pro sp3.
The board has onboard intel graphics,
and I've installed a Geforce 9500GT PCI-E.

The Problem happens the same, regardless of weather I'm using the onboard graphics (unpluging the Geforce) or using the Geforce.

And the problem is this:

If you just restart the pc... No problem,
It will start up fine.

If you shut it down and than power it up,
The system will pass the windows logo part,
and than get stuck,
As if the graphics driver installed on windows does not start up.

With the Geforce it's just a black screen, and with the onboard graphics it shows the windows desktop with a graphic distortion,
and completely stuck.

The only way to run the PC consistantly is using the onboard graphics without installing the windows driver,
which is ofcourse very poor performance.

Any Ideas?

Thanks for any reply,

Oded
