half life 2 High Dynamic Range Rendering

guys i have a question did you guys seen the half life 2 High Dynamic

range Rendering video in which they showed extremely shiny surfaces and

a bug that has also lot of shining on it but during gameplay when i reached

to that point the walls has no shining on it although i have a good card

geforce 6600 512mb Ram and intel 2.8Ghz but the surfaces are not shining

there all video options are high
 
Yeah same for me. I was a little disappointed actually, having seen that:

you could battle a strider and have it destroy a building in the process, push furniture in front of doors so combine can't enter, only for them to smash through the glass, promised 12 three hour long chapters...
