Hello, sorry for my bad english----

I know that all say that i got to have a fix to get bigger harddrive. but that is not the problem i think. but the problem i fill the disk with stuff and know it is corrupted. and can't run chkdsk or came in to the disk.
and it is a maxtor ide 200gb 8mb cach and model 9 plus and model 10 i got the problem now on. this is my fived time it happend. with 3 disk . is it a normal error or?? i hope i can get some answer.

First off, if you're having trouble with corrupt hard drives then it's usually that the hard drives are faulty or damaged - so send them back (RMA) and get replacements.

However, since you have said it's happened with 3 drives now, i would look more into something else causing the problem, mainly either:

Your powersupply is not powerful enough for the system you are running (large hard drives such as the one's you mention do consume a considerable amount of power) and therefore is causing your hard drives to fail.

or

Your Motherboard as a whole could be damaged/ide cables could be damaged on your hard drive causing errors.

OK thx, it can be my Motherboard its to old `? because i try in a other computer and its same problem there it going and be corrupted. i dont get so new Motherboard or computer. but it works fine in other system like in the xbox it works fine and dont be corrupted there. running right now the one of the disk there.... but i have to try i think running the disk in newer Motherboard. running windows XP if you have to know the system.... thx for your post anyway.

No. Like ProcalX said, it sounds like one of two things: a bad data cable or not enough juice to power the drive properly.
