yes and no, really. it's worth considering the ups and downs of it. viewing angles and high resolutions, these are things you might want to consider. but if you're not fussy about that, i believe you'll enjoy it very much. Also, the connections are a bit more varied than a monitor (mostly VGA or DVI, very rare to find monitors with svideo etc.) on the other hand, you need a HDTV card to get the channels, provided there's no inbuilt HDTV tuner. Dell has been selling some great LCDS, they come in 20' - 23' sizes. they're all great value. they have bountiful cable selections and great viewing angles and quality. Remember though, if you don't want the high resolutions and better image quality, you're better off buying Dell's 23' LCD monitor.
