Heatsink Creations...

I've got about 10 spare heatsinks, and I'm trying to think of a neat mod I can do to them. Something like the case made entirely of fans. Any ideas?

A case made entirely of fans? That would be a bit loud!
From what i've heard, most people make turn their heatsinks into GPU or RAM sinks. That may be appealing?

I'd just use them as decorations. Take a couple and attach some leds and a fan contoller and they'd look like disco generators.

I threw one on a 9800 pro already, it looked pretty sweet. Wouldn't ramsinks be a bit hard to make out of cpu heatsinks?

Doesn't that thing weigh the card down a bit? I know its aluminium and doesn't weigh that much but the size of it sticking out must bend the card a bit...I'd cut the HS's down by about half and use a bigger fan on a mount or something, those small fans must be annoying...

I mounted it with a line of spider wire (a strong type of fishing line) from the top of the chassis, so it doesn't add any strain to the part of the card closest to the AGP slot.

*edit* I put two fans on there because I thought it looked beastier :)

No I don't, it's a sapphire card and didn't come with a goddamn core sensor >.<

Nope, it's very easy, providing you have either a Dremel or a Hacksaw.
Here's an old FX5200 i did with an old Celeron 600 Heatsink!
You can either use some thermal tape or a tiny drop of super glue in each corner of the RAM chip together with some thermal paste!
