first of all, i have a NetGear Rangemax WPN824

i am looking to upgrade that to the new N wireless routers:

i am currently looking at a Belkin N Wireless router, mdl # F5D82334 ($89.99)

all the reviews are 50/50 and i am not sure ..

$99.99 is the most i am looking to spend (have to get the adapter as well)

if anyone has a good N Wireless Router or knows a good one to get

any info would be much appreciated.

i recommend you not get a wireless router because hard wired Ethernet routers are faster, more reliable & more secure than wireless routers

encryption can be difficult to setup, but, if you use 128 bit encryption you may be ok but i don't think theres something you can use to check that nobody is / can steal your bandwidth over your wireless part of your network

BTW: i'm not trying to talk you out of getting a wireless router but you need to be aware of all the risks

saba actually has a netgear DG834GT but that was supplied by his ISP, so, i can't recommend wireless at all

i have no choice, i am going through a wireless NetGear router right now ... was just looking to upgrade to the N cuz its faster..

:( well be very careful cos i personally wouldn't like some bad person standing outside my house & stealing my wireless bandwidth

BTW: use at least 33 characters for your passphrase otherwise you will be leaving the door open to thieves

Edit: you can have a passphrase of 8 - 63 characters

If you are gonna upgrade to a wireless N Router I would go for the Linksys Wireless N its a little more expensive but you get your moneys worth and they are in my opinion the easiest to set up and make secure with tons of options. I agree with Donkey the best way to do is a wired connection but since you cant do that, this is would be the way I would go. Hope this helps
