How do I use MOD files?

Can anyone tell me how I can use MOD files with Battlefield Vietnam?

I've managed to download one but don't know what to do with it.....

stick it in your Mods directory within 'nam.

There is a folder that goes mods>>BattleField Vietnam - this is the original. Just stick the mod in there.
