How do you embed flash?

I've embeded a flash animation into a page but the thing is when i view it in IE its fine, but with Firefox only a white box appears where it should be. Whats the correct syntax for the embed code?

 

I think so. I can play the file on another site, so I'm doing something wrong wit the code.
Thing is it plays in IE, so its probably that the current code i use isn't cross-browser.

 

oddly enough I get errors in IE and none in FF...

what worked for me was to redo the page in question.

 

i'll search around and see how other people have done theirs.

 

My animations work fine both in FF and IE.

Maybe it has something to do with your publish settings.

 

I'm thinkin publish settings or even the flash plugin maybe be screwed with for his FF.

 

When I view the same flash anim on another site, it works fine. But when I do it its ballzed up.
