Hi, I was using Intex TV tuner Card on windows XP. It was working fine. I recently upgrade my computer to Windows 7 64 bit. I didn't find any driver for windows 7. I used windows updates to find the driver. But Windows is installing the wrong driver (I guess) Because the card is not working. In windows xp, the card name is displayed as following in the device manager. TV Capture Card WDM TV Tuner TV Capture Card WDM Video Capture But after using windows update in windows 7, In device manager it is played saa1750 TV Card Is there a way to convert xp drivers to windows 7? Advanced thanks for your helps
No. If there are no real dedicated Windows 7 drivers for your tuner, then you're screwed. You can always install a virtual machine, though, and run windows XP in parallel for all your XP needs. There are also some emulation possibilities, but I can't really comment on that.
Hi, I installed windows xp as a virutal machine. I used vmware. But it is not supporting sharing tv tuner cards Is there any other solution for this? Thanks for your help
While most TV tuners are limited to the radio frequencies and video formats used in the country of sale, many TV tuners used in computers use DSP, so a firmware upgrade is often all that's necessary to change the supported video format. Many newer TV tuners have flash memory big enough to hold the firmware sets for decoding several different video formats, making it possible to use the tuner in many countries without having to flash the firmware.Pc Tv Programs
