is my g card installed

Hi there any help with this would b great

ok ive got a new graphics card: radeon 9250 128mb pci- i know not the best one

but anyway im having trouble installing, im not sure if it is installed, the monitor isnt plugged into it but on the display settings in control panel it is listed as the only graphics card avaivble- as ive recently reinstalled everything on my harddrive and i didnt put the original drivers for the onboard graphics.

Check Device Manager and see what's shown under the Display Adapters area.

You will still get basic video capabilities as Windows includes a generic video driver, compatible with all video adapters. If that's the case, installing the chipset drivers will give you full capabilities for the on-board video. Additionally, for best performance, you'll want to install these drivers anyway, since other devices you add may not perform optimally without chipset drivers.
For best results, go to the chipset manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers available for it.
