Hi, my friends laptop just died basically yesterday, he said that the keyboard stopped working and then it turned off and now wont turn back on, any ideas of what might have happened?

yeh its just like a paper weights, my guess was that the psu was gone, but i have no idea how that could of happened, as it sits on his desk with nothing next to it. should he even bother to get it repaired or just buy a pc? im guesing that it'll cost a lot to repair basically cause its a laptop

All I know is that its a brand called aries, 1gb ram, 3ghz cpu, its huge, and yeh he was running it off the AC power supply
