Laptop Help!!!!!

i own a patriot 3070 laptop and my HDD has completly gone but i was wondering what HDD can i buy that is compatable with this laptop also while im dooing that i would also like to purchase some RAM but also dont kno what ram to get as i have never up-graded or replaced any components on a laptop before.

any help would be very much appriciated

I'd say that any small PATA HDD will do. As for the RAM - look at your Patriots manual to see what are the specs and buy accordingly to that.

Hi,

You can buy any HDD for your laptop. You only need to know if its PATA or SATA. If you don't know it, just take it with you to the store and they will know. The RAM is a little bit different. You may want to take the whole notebook with you, because sometimes they are really picky accepting only some speed combinations and brands.
