I have a Dell Latitude D600 and I have an ATi Radeon 9000 32MB video card and I just pre-ordered Ever Quest II. The system req. require a 64 MB card to run. Is it possible for me to buy a new mobile video card and install it my self? Or am I better off having a pro do it? I saw that they make an Ati Radeon 64MB card, I assume they are the exact same and would not really change anything at all but I don't know if it would work.

Unless your laptop has a removable graphics module, you'll be unable to upgrade it. IF you can, then you'll have to get the upgrade through Dell. From what I can tell, you can only upgrade the system memory, battery, and hard drive as far as internal upgrades go.

Some newer, high-end laptops have vendor specific graphics modules that can be upgraded, but these are fairly new developments.

Basically, the way it looks right now, the only way to get more memory for the video card is to get a new laptop.

If you get a new laptop, get an Alienware Sentia or Silicon or Cellulite or something. That allows for graphic upgrades.

Yeah get one of those the Alienware seems to be the best to me. I seems to look like it has good design and it looks cool
