is there any point in buying a floppy disk drive?
i think i am going to have this cpu

and iv asked about the mobo in this forum already
what i want to ask is the other stuff, not graphics card but psu, modifications to the case etc. what should/could i do to make a decent computer?
 
I see nothing wrong with any of the products. I would suggest you check out cases at local shops. While most stuff can be had for considerably less online, the shipping charges tend to make cases and monitors a hassle.

If you're going to make use of an SATA or IDE RAID controller, a floppy drive will come in handy during the Win2k/XP setup. After that, you can yank it and put it away until you need it again. For that reason, I would have a floppy drive. You wouldn't need to leave it in.

If you don't care about overclocking, that 2.6 should be fine. Having the retail kit also takes care of searching for a heatsink as that's included in the retail packaging.

also add ons like extra fans, if so then i wud need a fan controller afterwards yea? and neons inside, new psu (need help with this one) the one i have at the moment is only 250w what w should be a reasonable amount then?
 
A fanbus isn't necessary. However, if you want to control the fans speed, and ultimately noise, yeah.

PSU: I'd go with either Sparkle (the company that makes them also makes Fortron PSU's) or Antec. Don't go cheap here or you'll pay for it. I'd go no less that 350W, but 400W or greater won't hurt.

Neons (usually referred to as Cold Cathodes). 1 is good, and unless you have a humongous case, 2 is usually enough. Looks like that case you're looking at already has some lighting with it. The tricolored LED fan is kinda gaudy, though, but deal with looks last.
