Making of htpc

I am building a HTPC soon, i was guided towards ATI RADEON HD series in terms of graphics, my htpc will be playing bluray at defination of 720P & 1080P.
my budget is around $200.
Any suggestion as to which card from radeon hd series, if not what is in comparison to it in nVidia.
although my processor on this be mostly INTEL.

Is this just for HD playback, or will you be gaming? If so what games will you be playing?

yes, mainly video play and since hd is becoming common, most of the video will be high def.
