mobo upgrade question

motherboard Is Asus p5kpl-cm Intel g31 chipset with six channels GBP lan s-ata 3GB/s single pci-e Mb

I need to know if I can put it new graphics card in It or I have to upgrade my motherboard first to support a new graphics card.
 
Of course you can. Your motherboard has a pci express slot. The real question is if your power supply can handle the new card.
Which make and model PSU do you have? Which graphics card do you want to install?
